Cusco to Machu Picchu via Train
• San Pedro train station (Cusco) to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town). This would be one of the most ideal ways to go from Cusco to Machu Picchu, first you must go to the San Pedro train station, board the train and once in Aguas Calientes you must board the Bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu.
The San Pedro Cusco station is located 5 minutes from the historic center of Cusco.
• Train station from Poroy (Cusco) to Aguas Calientes (Pueblo Machu Picchu). For this route you must first take a car and go to the Poroy station, then board the train to Aguas Calientes, then board the bus to Machu Picchu. .
The Poroy Cusco station is located 30 minutes from the historic center of Cusco.
• Train station from Ollantaytambo (Sacred Valley of the Incas) to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town). This is one of the most popular routes, to go to Ollantaytambo you have 2 options: go on a tour and visit the main attractions of the sacred valley and stay in Ollantaytambo to board the train, and the other is to take a car from Cusco to Ollantaytambo and later board the train. Once in Aguas Calientes you must board the bus to Machu Picchu.
